Health is the thing???


Health is the thing. And no matter how many ways you can measure and quantify symptoms and disease, the only way to be healthy is to add to your health.


So what adds health into your life? I have boiled it down to 7 simple things.

1. Listening to your inner knowing - that gut feeling, instinctual response type knowing everyone has - listen to it
2. Rest - and not just sleeping, actually resting, which can be sleep.
3. Breathing Fresh Air - breathe in fresh air deep and fully every day
4. Food and Water - everyone is different, make sure whatever you choose to eat or drink is fresh and pure. No one diet is right for every one.
5. Sunlight - get healthy amounts of it
6. Activity - both physical and mental activity. The best form of activity is the one you will actually do. And it doesn't have to be the same thing every day.
7. Consciousness - being conscious or aware as you are doing all of the above and living your life

Flu Season Is Here!

The time of year is here where the sniffling, sneezing, coughing, sore throat and fever creeps into our lives and we just want it to stay away, but how?
There are many preventative steps that we can take to steer clear of the flu. Here are 10 tips you can use to help keep the flu away this cold season!

1. Wash your hands frequently with liquid anti bacterial soap instead of bar soap. Bar soap can be a breeding ground for viruses and bacteria.
2. Do not share drinking glasses. Instead, use disposable drinking cups in the kitchen and bathroom. Dispose after 1 use.
3. Use disposable tissues when blowing your nose, Wash your hands thoroughly when you are done.
4. Colds and flu are often spread through hand to hand contact. Make an effort to keep your hands from touching your face and keep your fingers out of your mouth.
5. If you have young children, wash their toys frequently in warm soapy water.
6. Viruses can live on hand towels and sponges for many hours. Use disposable paper napkins and towels instead.
7. If you have to sneeze and there are no tissues available, sneeze into your shoulder and not your hands to avoid spreading germs.
8. Frequently clean surfaces such as counter tops, railings, door knobs to avoid spreading hand to hand viruses.
9. Germs remain in stagnant air. When weather permits, open the windows or door to circulate fresh air.
10. Avoid smoking at all costs. It is a respiratory irritant that increases susceptibility to viruses that cause cold and flu.

If you feel a cold/flu coming on, here are a couple of tip you can take try and stop in in it's tracks or prevent it from coming full swing.

1. Take 2000mg of vitamin C, one garlic tablet, one echinacea tablet. If you don't feel better after 30min, take another 1000mg of vitamin C and continue to do so until you feel better.
2. Drink lot's of water. Viruses breed well in warm/dry environments. Keeping your body irrigated will help you fight the fight.

Take note...don't always sleep late!!!!!!!

                                                                                                                 
Good rest and sound sleep is very important... if u don't sleep well,
The toxins in your body will accumulate... Affecting your health and your mood...

The main causes of liver damage are:
1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late are the main cause..
2. Not urinating in the morning.
3. Too much eating.
4. Skipping breakfast.
5. Consuming too much medication.
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and artificial sweetener. 





7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best
Cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.
8. Consuming overly done foods also add to the burden of liver. Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried
Veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.

We have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits is very important for our body to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals.

Because….
 

Evening 9 - 11pm:
is the time for eliminating unnecessary/ toxic chemicals (de- toxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in a un relaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on her health.

Night at 11pm - 1am:
The de-toxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.
 
Early morning 1 - 3am
: de-toxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.

Early morning 3 - 5am:
de-toxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the de-toxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.

Morning 5 - 7am:
de-toxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel.

Morning 7 - 9am:
Absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30am, for those who are sick. Breakfast before 7:30am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9 -10am rather than no meal at all. Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals.
 
Midnight to 4am
is the time when the bone marrow produces blood.

Therefore, have a good sleep and don't sleep late.
