People who get red bump and intense itching after a mosquito bite are most likely suffering from a condition known as papular urticaria. This condition is common and often annoying disorder manifested by chronic or recurrent papules caused by a hypersensitive reaction to the bites of mosquitoes, fleas, bed bugs, and other insects. Being difficult to resist scratching these itchy crusted bumps, the possibility of infection is high and caution should be taken. The body should be as fully covered as possible. Use an insect repellent to exposed skin to prevent insect bites. Homeopathic medicine Apis Mellifica 6c, five pills twice daily will help a lot. If the symptoms still persists, please consult a doctor.
