How to Cut Your Nails?

Cut Your NailsHow do your nails look reflects a lot about you as a person. You can go long and colorful fingernails if you are in fashion, or slightly less if you are in activities like sports. But if you want to have long or short, never mind. The important thing is to be cut short and clean. Nail cutting plays an important role when it comes to personal hygiene. It can be an easy task, but can sometimes cause minor problems such as unwanted scratches and ingrown toenails, when done poorly. A safe and orderly manner to cut the nails, apply the following steps.

Instructions
.Prepare the types of tools for the job. Clippers, who are small or medium, with slightly curved blades are suitable for trimming the fingernails. Nail, shears with straight blades are the right type to use.

.Disinfect your clippers. Before you begin, you must make sure your clippers are clean. Rinse your clippers to remove dust and dirt do not want, especially when you are sharing with someone else. Dry thoroughly after washing to prevent rust.

.Clean your fingernails clean. You can take a shower and clean nails or just simply wash your hands and feet with antibacterial soap. Wipe dry with a towel to remove excess water. This process not only cleans the fingernails, but also helps in making nails softer and easier to cut or trim.

.Find a well lit area. You must perform the cutting of nails in a space with adequate lighting and where you can clearly see what you are doing. They also prepare a napkin or a small container where you can collect and dispose of nail clippings.

.Closely examine the nail before trimming. Decide if you want to have short nails with a little of the whites left or long with a round or square tip. After taking a decision, lift and rotate the cutter lever (the part where you put your thumb to press), and start cutting the nails.

.Start cutting the nails. No matter if you start adjusting your pinky goes to your thumb or vice versa. It all depends on you. The important thing is how to correctly position the nail clipper as the court.

.Place the cutter on one side of the nail that is the first cut. Be sure to align the curved blade of the razor in the white part of the nail. However, to ensure that the razor is not too tight to prevent accidental scratches in the skin. Try to tighten slightly in the cutter to make sure it is straight - if you feel any discomfort, adjust the shaver to a more secure and painless.

.Click on the clippers that can cut through the nail. You can make at least two or three cuts of a fingernail until everything is snug. Carefully follow the curve of the nail of a clean cut. Check some stepparents or skin flaps after each cut and remove carefully.

.Sit back and bend your knee side to easily reach up and clearly see the nails. Lift the lever of the clipper large, the position of the straight blade on the white part of the nail. Be sure not to configure deep razor to prevent accidental scratches. Adjust the position of the razor, if you feel any pain or discomfort.

.Trim toenails carefully. Do not try to cut in a curve to follow the shape of the tip of the toes. Cut straight across to avoid ingrown toenails. Be sure to cut the nails also moderate length - too short cut will only lead to painful ingrown toenails.

.Use a nail file or emery board to smooth any rough and uneven surface of newly trimmed nails. Can also be used to further balance the shape of the nails. When you file, you do in one fell swoop - from the corner of the nail to go downtown.

.Apply some moisturizer lotion on your hands and toes to keep the cuticles moisturized. The cuticle is the tissue that overlaps the nail plate (the real) at the base of the nail. Keratin protects newly formed cells, as it pushes to the nail bed (the area that produces nail plate).
